Mrs. Foon Yung Lam 林趙欢容

With profound sadness, Lam Chiu Foon Yung, our loving and devoted grandmother, mother, and friend to all whose lives she touched passed away peacefully in Burnaby, Canada on November 28, 2021 at the age of 99. She is lovingly remembered by her four children, Peter Yuet Foo (Susanny), Yuet Siu (Yuet Yan), Ah Gum, Ah Hing (Wai Chong). Her 9 grandchildren, Karen (Ed), Karl (Emma), Kelly, Ga Ming (Yee Mui), Ga Leung (Sui Ping), Chong Fong (Chong Wa), Gee Oi, Wai Yue, Wai Ying, and her 12 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, Chiu Bing Chai and Lam Sein. Born in Sunwui, China, Ah Ma arrived in Vancouver in 1982 to care for her grandchildren.

Foon Yung enjoyed gardening, knitting, watching Star Trek, and cooking for her family. She expressed love to her grandchildren through delicious homemade meals and Chinese desserts. Most of all she loved her family and instilled good values in her children and grandchildren that have served them well. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.

Due to the current conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic, a private memorial service will be held on Friday, December 17, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Forest Lawn Memorial located at 3789 Royal Oak Ave, Burnaby, BC V5G 3M1.

深感悲痛，我們慈愛和忠誠的祖母、母親和朋友，她於二零二一年十一月二十八日在加拿大本拿比安詳離世，享年九十九歲。她的四名孩子深切緬懷她。她的兒子悅富（媳婦艷貞）、兒子悅韶（媳婦悅歡）、女兒雅婷（女婿衛忠）及女兒雅錦；和她的九名孫子，家欣 (孫女婿國星)，家豪(孫媳Emma)，家銘，家明（孫媳艷梅），家亮（孫媳瑞萍），春鳳（孫女婿中華），珠愛，慧瑜，慧盈，以及她的十二名曾孫和外曾孫。她的父母是邱炳才和林盛。母親出生於中國新會，一九八二年隨家人來到溫哥華照顧孫子和孫女。

母親喜歡園藝、編織、看星際迷航電影和為家人做飯。她通過美味的家常飯菜和中式甜點表達了對孫子們的愛。最重要的是，她愛她的家人，並向她的子孫灌輸了良好的價值觀，這些價值觀教導他們怎樣處世待人。她將被深深地懷念並永遠留在各人心中。

由於 COVID-19 大流行的當前，私人追思吿別會謹擇於二零二一年十二月十七日下午一時在本拿比Forest Lawn Memorial 舉行，地址為 3789 Royal Oak Ave., Burnaby.
