Frances passed away peacefully last Thursday after a battle with cancer. A devoted wife, mother, grandma and friend, her passing came too soon after a cancer diagnosis six short weeks ago. Frances is survived by loving husband of 46 years, Garry, son Gregory (Amie), and granddaughter Sophia. She is also survived by siblings Helen and Stanley, sister in-law and dear friend Jacqueline, as well as many other loving relatives, sorority sisters and friends. Her parents Roy and Miyo Kita predecease Frances. Over the years Frances worked for Royal Trust and the RCMP, though her greatest joy came in caring for her family. She adored her 40 years in Beta Sigma Phi sorority and in recent times senior fitness at Bonsor Centre. We will remember Frances fondly for her positive spirit, determination, curiosity, and love of socializing with family and friends.
