Frances Fraser of North Vancouver passed away on December 7, 2013. Born in Toronto on July 9, 1921, she came to Vancouver in 1952 to teach at UBC in the Home Economics faculty after earning her MA at U of T. She married, raised two children and later took ECE to teach preschoolers and played the piano for preschool children for many years. Frances was active with the Highlands United Church. Frances was predeceased by her parents, siblings and husband, Robert Fraser. She is survived by her son, Robert (Nancy), daughter, Alice (Norine), grandsons, Cameron and Brendan and many nieces and nephews. Family service with interment at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Rev. Cheryl Black is officiating her memorial service at Highlands United Church Dec. 16, at 2pm. Donations to charity in lieu of flowers.
