Francesco Caldarella

June 9, 1925 – March 6, 2026

Francesco passed away peacefully March 6, 2026 at the age of 100+ years. He was born in Siculiana, Sicily to Giovanni & Felicia Caldarella. He was predeceased by his wife, Paola, in 2019, by his parents, 1 sister and 2 brothers. Survived by his loving family, 2 sons, John (Lucia), Joe and 1 daughter, Felicia (Paul), 8 grandchildren Paula, Franco (Tausha), Cris (Melinda), Justine (Andrew), Chloe (Nicholas), Chanel (Devon), Bianca, Nicholas (Jeanette) and 8 great-grandchildren, Austin, Lucas, Tia, Jacob, Brooklyn, Mason, Danica and Kristian. He is also survived by 2 brothers and 1 sister and many nieces and nephews.

Francesco immigrated to Wales, UK and Canada arriving in Vancouver in 1959. He settled in East Vancouver (Strathcona area) and later in Burnaby.

The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, staff and residents at Rosemary Heights Senior Centre (Surrey) for all their care and friendship.

Funeral Service will be held at Bell & Burnaby Funeral Chapel, 4276 Hastings Street, Burnaby on March 18, 2026, at 11:00 am. Entombment to follow at Ocean View Burial Park - Abbey Mausoleum, 4000 Imperial St, Burnaby.
