It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Francesco Porco on January 7th, 2016 at the age of 74. He is predeceased by his parents, Eugenio and Maria; sister, Assunta and son, Felice. Francesco is survived by his wife, Rosina; children, Gino (Maria), Mirella, Adamo (Liliana), and Iva (Steve); grandchildren, Marcello, Francesco, Antonio, Gianluca and Gabriella; brothers, Giuseppe and Luigi; sisters, Rosina and Anna, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Special thank-you to all our family and friends who offered their love and support. Prayers will be offered at 7:30pm on Tuesday, January 12 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 525 Slocan Street, Vancouver, BC, where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am on Wednesday January 13th, 2016. Entombment will follow at Ocean View Burial Park, Abbey Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the BC Lung Association.
