It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Gerry at age 59 after a year-long battle with pancreatic cancer. He will be sadly missed by his son Brett, daughter Brooke, and wife Cheryl, as well as brother Gordon, nieces, nephews, their families, and also countless friends. Gerry lived his life as a Longshoreman and his love of sports like baseball, hockey, and golf with all of his dear friends was a great passion of his. He will be sadly missed on the golf course, especially just having a great match with his friends.
A small family memorial will be held on March 28th, 2013 at 12:00 pm at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at the Longshoreman Hall.
We would like to thank all staff at Royal Columbian Hospital and Surrey Hospice for all their love and support.
Gerry will be sadly missed by all.
