Gina passed away peacefully on October 29, 2019 in Vancouver, BC at the age of 84. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Pasquale; daughters Sabatina (Dennis), Maria (Jose), son Nicola, her grandchildren: Andrew, Anthony, Laura, and Matthew. Survived by her brother, Pasquale (Maria); nephews Joe & Dominic. Her close relatives and friends will greatly miss and remember her dearly.
Gina was born in Albi, Catanzaro, Italy and immigrated to Canada where she lived her remaining years in Vancouver, British Columbia. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who always put her family first with a smile and humour that touched souls. She was a kind, compassionate, and giving individual who put others needs before her own. An excellent cook, she loved to spoil her family with delicious home-cooked meals and baked delicious cookies and pastries. Gina courageously fought her battle with Alzheimer’s for the past year with dignity, strength, and hope.
Funeral mass will be held 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at Our Lady of Sorrows Parish, 555 Slocan Street, Vancouver, BC.
