Giovanni, born in Mozzagrogna, Chieti, Italy, passed away suddenly at the age of 81 years. He is predeceased by 10 siblings. Survived by sister Teresa Pietramala in Vancouver, and siblings Filomena and Giuseppe in Italy; niece Giulia Cantagallo, nephew Piero Pietramala, niece Mariella Testini and their spouses in Vancouver, and many family in Italy. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 18, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 525 S. Slocan St. Vancouver, BC. Entombment to follow at the Garden Mausoleum, Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Burnaby, BC. In lieu of flowers donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
