Goldie was born to George and Martha Badovinac, January 4, 1926, in Kamenci, Croatia. She married the late Merle Moseley in 1945, became a Canadian citizen in 1946, and she and her husband lived together in Nanaimo and Vancouver.
Goldie worked for many years as a senior accountant for what is now the Ministry of Children and Family Development of British Columbia.
Goldie is survived by her two children: Dr. Douglas Moseley (Barrie), of Burnaby, and Mark Moseley (Michelle) of Washington, D.C. She also is survived by her two sisters, Georgina Dichuk and Elsie Kray, by five grandchildren and by two great-grandchildren.
A private service for the immediate family was held on March 2 at Forest Lawn cemetery in Burnaby.
A special thanks is given to the staff at Willingdon Care Center in Burnaby for their kindness and compassion.
