Gordon was born in Vancouver and lived most of his life in Burnaby. As a young man Gordon enjoyed playing lacrosse. He coached lacrosse, as well as his children's sports. Gordon sadly lost his wife Audrey to cancer at a young age and devoted all his love and attention to bringing up their four young children. Gordon will be greatly missed by his children, Carol (Brian), Brian, Brad (Anna); grandchildren Adam, Matthew, Jenna, Kirsten, Rory, Hayley, Kelsey, Kara; sisters June (Bill), Viona (Bill); brother Barry (Josephine); brother-in-laws Dick and Ed as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Gordon was predeceased by his wife Audrey, son Craig and sisters Irene and Doreen. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 13 at Bell & Burnaby Funeral Chapel, 4276 Hastings Street, Burnaby. Interment, Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Burnaby.
