It is with deep sadness the Marshall and Delgado families announce the passing of Gilly Marshall on January 3, 2026. She died peacefully at Vancouver General Hospital. Her family roots are from Macau and Hong Kong. Gilly mostly worked as a clerical worker for Northwest Airlines, the Citizenship Court and Malaysian High Commission. She loved meeting people and was very outgoing and adventurous. Her travels included many countries in Europe, South Asia, Canada and United States. She was a devout Catholic and through her travels made a point to visit the different chapels and cathedrals. She enjoyed reading, leisurely walks and a little bit of gardening but her favourite past time was trying different cuisines with her husband, sister and friends. Spending that time reminiscing about the old days.
She is survived by her loving husband, Brian. Sister Theresa, Sister-in-law Hercia, nieces Louann, Toni and Marie. She is also missed by many extended family members and close friends.
A funeral service will be held at St. John the Apostle Parish, located at 5457 Trafalgar St. Vancouver, BC, V6N 1C1, Canada. The service is scheduled for January 21, 2026, from 1:00 pm.
