

Henry was born in Vancouver and attended Laura Secord Elementary and Vancouver Technical Secondary. He graduated from University of British Columbia with Bachelor of Commerce in 1977 and joined Touche Ross & Co. Henry gained his C.A. designation with top score in 1979 and promoted to Supervisor in 1980. He became a “National” figure as a winner in a Touche Ross competition to find successful entrepreneurial ideas for new business. In 1983, Henry was promoted to Manager and became involved externally as a member of the Hong Kong / Canada Business Association and as a member of the Asia Pacific Group in Touche Ross. Henry joined a public accounting firm as a Partner in 1989.
In his younger days, for his work, his most memorable trip was to New Zealand. Henry was passionate about his work and was well respected by his clients and associates. He was an excellent negotiator and mediator with high problem solving skills. Henry always been willing to give the benefit of his knowledge and skills to others.
Henry very much enjoyed cooking, music, travel and being with family and friends. Henry was a kind and generous man, who both professionally and personally wanted and fought for “fairness” all of his life. He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
Henry is survived by his wife Donna, stepson Johnathan, brother Andrew, sister Pearl, nephews Alexander and Albert, sister in-law Jing.
