Born in Sudbury, Ont on September 13, 1939, passed away in Vancouver, BC on June 20, 2014.
With deep sadness and love, we announce the peaceful passing of Holly at age 74 years, with her family by her side. Holly was predeceased by her parents Raymond and Edith (Brisson) Rivers. She is survived and will be missed by her son, Ian; her three grandsons Maxwell, Alexander, and Ryan; her nieces, nephews, and cousins; and many other relatives and friends.
A legal secretary for most of her life, she was also a Poet, Painter, Cook, and Teacher, with a meticulous attention to detail. Holly will be remembered for her love of Dancing, Hiking, Gardening, Yoga, Cooking, Cycling, Watching Birds at the duck pond where she made so many friends, and Winning tickets on Co-op Radio to attend just about every music event in town.
The family would like to express their gratitude for the compassionate care she received at St Paul’s Hospital.
