先父張孝明 “張伯伯” 給大家的話

我，張孝明，於民國17年（1928年）農曆1月19日出生於中國大陸湖南省長沙縣東鄉張家大屋，這大屋大約有三百多戶人家，上有二兄四姐，下有一弟。小時啟蒙讀書是在張家祠堂，後來進了鄉下的慶源小學唸高小，後家父因公務調到衡陽電信管理局工作，我們全家也就跟隨遷到衡陽居住。由於家父是資深報務員，後又被調到新化縣於電信局當局長，我們全家也就遷到新化縣，我就進了私立上梅初級中學唸初中，初中畢業後考進私立行素中學。

抗日戰爭勝利後行素中學由新化遷移到長沙絲茅沖建立新校舍，在行素高中畢業後，我到上海考入兵工工程學院第十四期造兵系，在吳淞接受入伍軍訓。因內戰於民國38年（1949年）元月15日全校師生乘太平輪自上海出發，至民國38年（1949年）元月17日早晨抵達台灣基隆港2號碼頭，在那裡停留兩天後，即轉乘花蓮輪抵達花蓮，我們學校就利用一所營房上課了。由於花蓮偏處一隅，交通不便，師資缺乏，後來學校乃再次遷於台北新生南路三段（接近台灣大學），當時即有台大名師來兼課，如陸志鴻教授，鍾皎光教授；也有我校專任教授去台大兼課的，如羅雨人教授。我們十四期同學就是在台北畢業的。

畢業後，我被分發到馬祖服役，擔任火砲維修小組組長，那時最大的大砲為240mm口徑大砲。在馬祖服完役後返回台灣，考上了軍事留美，赴El Paso Texas接受勝利女神力士型遙控指揮儀維修保養班訓練，返台後即參加陸軍飛彈營（605群661營）工作。服務兩年後，調到聯勤六十一兵工廠服務，工作一段時間後，我申請到美國New Hampshire州立大學機械研究所兩年全額獎學金進修，回國後調入國防部中山科學院系統製造中心，服務至民國82年（1993年）11月1日退休。退休後，我帶我全家移民至加拿大；於民國83年（1994年）7月1日起我在列治文市定居。

我於1964年5月30日與趙廣蘭姊妹結婚，育有4名兒女。長子友東全家定居在列治文，他從牙醫師退休後常常陪伴我們兩老；老二友禮取得博士學位後與兒媳一林定居美國，擔任醫療器材公司工程師；老三友義和兒媳金蘭全家定居台灣，從事留學顧問工作；女兒友慧和女婿菲利浦定居柏林，在醫院擔任放射科技術人員。我有四名孫子孫女，其中之光已經就業任職於列治文一間科技公司、之虹也已大學畢業，剛完成美國兩年的造就課程；之亮也即將於今年暑假後進入台大機械研究所就讀碩士，之安Zoey則仍在念小學，目前除了德語、英語外也在學中文。四名子女各居一國，可說是開枝散葉，飛揚國際。感謝神保守帶領，他們都在當地的教會有很好的教會生活。

2013年我生了一場大病，經廣蘭叫救護車送醫院治療，總算救回一命，後來就全靠早晚兩次吃藥才能控制病情。我和廣蘭每逢星期天都到列治文的基督教路德會三一堂做禮拜，有首我愛唱的詩歌“輕輕聽”，是要我們聽基督耶穌的教訓，雖然我們不能親耳聽到他的教訓，但是我們可以從聖經上看到他和他的門徒留下的福音，這是我和廣蘭每天都要看的，希望大家都能買一本聖經看看。願大家都能得到主賜的真平安。

現在我被主榮召回天家享永福了。阿們。

子女補記：父親張孝明於2024年2月26日，亦即母親趙廣蘭離世後10天安息主懷。他一生正直，拙於言辭卻熱情。如以上所描述的，他是個好軍人，好工程師，好基督徒，好父親。這裡再略微補充一二。他熱愛攝影錄像，為我們及親朋留下了許多珍貴的回憶。他動手能力極強，在身體狀況允許時曾為親朋或主內弟兄姊妹免費維修家用電器，若對方一定要付費則全部奉獻於教會。他很喜歡運動，對能於六十多歲完成萬米負重路跑引以為豪。他是個很好的男高音，“叫我如何不想她”和“追尋”是他常唱的歌，臨終前幾天還能輕輕地和我們一同背誦主禱文，唱完“玉門春曉”和他喜歡的詩歌“輕輕聽”。他喜歡聽詠嘆調，彌留之際一首普契尼“親愛的爸爸”竟能將他喚醒。他弱冠赴台以校為家，兵工學校十四期的同學們是他終身的好弟兄，這或者可以彌補他缺失的親情吧？退休後即赴湖南尋根，所幸七位手足俱全，枝繁葉茂，令他頗為欣慰，多次的探親之旅留下了許多相片與錄影，也為我們與老家建立起了關係。他有同學為昆仲，於耳順之後又能再與家族歡聚，並在加拿大與妻兒並孫共享天倫，料他於母親離世後十天被主接回天家時當無遺憾。為其子女者盼能肖其十一，誠懇待群，儉樸奉己，顧妻（夫）顧家，愛神愛人，庶幾無忝所生。

先母張趙廣蘭 “張媽媽” 給大家的話

親愛的家人朋友和主內兄弟姊妹們，謝謝你們撥空前來相送，願天父賜福大家，到那一天，我們都可再會，阿們。

我出生於中國河南省修武縣官司村的一個有三十多口的大家庭，兄弟姊妹六人，排行第三，上有兄姐，下有弟妹，家人皆是重男輕女之輩，行事又不公，由此可知我的處境。後來因內亂隨家人到山東濟南，輾轉又去了台灣，即成長於斯，讀書，工作，成家，直到退休。一九五八年受洗信主，成為基督徒，成為神家裡的人，即受命任主日學教師，並參加教會查經班，禱告會，和寒暑期的特會訓練。一九九四年隨夫張孝明和四個子女全家移民加拿大，在Richmond尋得了教會（路德會三一堂），就住下來。每天讀經，禱告，參加各種聚會。信主後，人生觀價值觀改變，輕看世界只想討主喜悅，有數年開家為主所用，每週在教會有中英文查經，在我家也有中英文查經，喜樂團契，和小排信徒造就聚會，一週下來，靈裡吃得飽飽的。時光流逝，不知不覺已進入老年行列。

福就是永遠的生命，人有了永遠的生命，就有福了。感謝主耶穌愛我，讓我信祂作生命之主得著這大福，作了天國子民，成為神家裡的人。我有神賜聖靈內住，不膽怯，不害怕，可以坦然無懼地來到施恩寶座前，為要得憐恤蒙恩惠，作隨時的幫助（來4:16）。我真是有福，全家上下三十多口的大戶，女孩僅我隨家人分到台灣，又爭取到上學的機會，衷心感恩！初二時，因為咳嗽太久，健康出了問題，感染上肺結核休學兩年，有幸新藥上市，吃了三個月竟然痊癒，感謝主賜恩福。我復學後成了一位特殊生，叫半休，不上體育課，每日午休時間可到醫務室躺床休息，如此待遇直到高中畢業，這種優惠，豈不是神賜之福氣嗎！回家也可不做粗重活，得空就躺著休息，說句大家可能不信的話，就是寫數學題和作文，都是躺著想好才起來抄寫，連織毛衣也是躺著織成的。

感謝主，竟賜給我結婚生子之福樂！尤其生友禮和友義雙生子時，他們是早產兒，健康又很差，我晝夜沒睡過兩小時，深怕熟睡耽誤了孩子，因此孝明買了力胖液，寶納多，大蒜精，我一一吃下去，就是撐著少睡覺。說著說著，他們都已年過半百，現在講來好像是昨天的事。他倆長得比大哥還壯呢！真是感謝天父上帝，賜福加力幫助我們。阿們。

再說主的恩典賜福，天父知我家人多，租屋不易，就在我們來加拿大報到前，弟弟全家熱心買下一間三房兩廳的房子，後院寬敞，還有一個小游泳池，大家沒有見過，都很喜歡！雖說之後此物業也帶來不少麻煩，但總給全家帶來不少享樂。倚靠耶和華的人，有福了（耶17:7-10）。我依靠祂。阿們！全家赴加國，一落地就有屋可居，這是全能天父的慈愛和福氣保守呀。信靠神的人，便為有福（詩84:12）。感謝主，千言萬語，說不盡神賜的福和恩，願一切榮耀尊貴頌讚都歸給天父上帝。阿們！

現在我要回天家永住了，以往若有虧負大家之處，就請本著主的愛包容我吧，謝謝。感謝讚美主！我這一生最大的祝福，就是蒙天父上帝揀選，是我認識主耶穌，並信靠祂到如今。幾十年的歲月匆匆而過，有風雨，也有彩虹；有嘆息，也有喜樂，更有說不盡主的恩和神的愛。多少苦痛，總靠主的保守度過。神的路是蒙福的路，願將一切尊貴榮耀頌讚，都歸天父上帝和主耶穌基督。

今天主歇了我地上的勞苦，接我返天家，特於此再述神愛和主恩，期盼每人都被神的靈光照，明白真道，認識耶穌，打開心門，接受祂作你自己生命之主，得著永生的盼望和今生的真平安。阿們！神愛世人，甚至將祂的獨生兒子賜給我們，叫一切信他的不致滅亡，反得永生（約3:16）。神說的這句話，像一粒種子，在我心田滋長，終被吸引，信而受洗，作了神家裡的人，天國的子民，並向家人親友傳說神的愛，感謝主！神的愛臨及我家，全家皆信耶穌，蒙恩得救。哈利路亞，榮耀都歸天父。

朋友，請思想思想，今生列車到終點時，該何去何從？耶穌有回答。祂說：“我就是道路，真理，生命。若不藉著我，沒有人能到父那裡去。” （約14:6）。因為除耶穌以外，天下人間沒有賜下別的名可以靠著得救（徒4:12）。親愛的親戚朋友，請看看這世界：民攻打民，國攻打國，多處有難民，飢荒，災難，怪病，海嘯，地震不斷。。。（太24:6-8）。這些聖經早已有預言，還說這些只是災難的起頭，將來會有更大的災禍發生。人若不能悔改信耶穌，誰能逃得過呢？朋友，上帝已經預備了救恩，叫世人信耶穌得永生，不被定罪，上帝是信實的，祂的話必要成就。我深愛的親朋好友們，懇求你們敞開心扉，接受耶穌作你生命之主吧！使你名字被錄在上帝的生命冊上，你就持有天國護照，到那日可回天家享受主恩。願上帝祝福大家。阿們！

子女們補記：先母張趙廣蘭，於2024年2月16日安息主懷。她幼年隨家人避秦赴台，因病晚兩年入學，卻因此成了同學們的大姐姐。她從小為人樂觀正直，眼中沒有壞人；誠懇無私，頗得師長器重；一生為人師表，育才無數。她勤奮好學又多才藝，廚技女紅都不在話下；寫得一手好字，畫得一手好國畫，打毛衣帽花樣繁複，愛宴大餐小點舉重若輕。自奉甚儉，卻對人慷慨，常言“自己有的要分給別人”。她富行動力，說做就做難者亦易；富生命力，經手花木總能盎然。她愛唱詩歌，愛讀聖經，一生愛神愛人，為傳福音盡心盡力，身上常備福音單張與自製福音書籤，見人即送，雖被拒亦不以為忤；以基督為我家之主，大門總為弟兄姊妹或福音朋友敞開。她有許多想做的事，無奈受限於時間精力因而有時略顯急躁，然而正如聖經箴言4:18所說“義人的路好像黎明的光，越照越明，直到日午“，當她見主面的一刻，就是她最成熟明亮的時候。她不只是我的母親，也被許多人視之為母，暱稱為“張媽媽”，不只有我們四兄妹為她的子女，更有許多屬靈的子女。現在她已成為那如同雲彩圍繞我們的諸多見證人之一，在紀念她的同時，也禱告願感動她的靈也加倍感動還在世上的我們，直到再會主前。

Words from our late father, Hsiao-Ming (John) Chang “Chang Baba”, to everyone

I, Hsiao-Ming Chang, was born on January 19th in the lunar calendar of 1928 in the Chang family's large house (Zhangjia Dawu) in Dongxiang, Changsha County, Hunan Province, Mainland China. This large house accommodated over three hundred families, and I was among two older brothers and four older sisters, with one younger brother following me. My initial education began in the Chang family ancestral hall, later moving on to attend Qingyuan Primary School in the countryside for higher elementary education. Subsequently, due to my father's job transfer to the Hengyang Telegraph Administration, our whole family relocated to Hengyang. As my father was a senior telegrapher, he was later transferred to serve as the director of the Telegraph Office in Xinhua County, prompting our family to move there, where I attended the private Shangmei Junior High School for my junior high education. After graduating from junior high, I was admitted to the private Xingsu Middle School.

After the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, Hangsu Middle School moved from Xinhua to a new campus in Simaochong, Changsha. Following my graduation from Xingsu High School, I went to Shanghai to join the 14th session of the Ordnance Engineering College, undergoing military training in Wusong. Due to the civil war, on January 15, 1949, all students and faculty members departed from Shanghai aboard the Taiping ship, arriving at Keelung Harbor, Taiwan, on the morning of January 17, 1949. After a two-day stay, we transferred to the Hualien ship to reach Hualien, where our school began using barracks for our classes. Due to Hualien's remote location, inconvenient transportation, and lack of teaching staff, the school moved again to Section 3 of Xinsheng South Road in Taipei (close to Taiwan University), where renowned professors from Taiwan University, such as Professor Lu Zhihong and Professor Zhong Jiaoguang, came to teach part-time. Similarly, our full-time professors, for instance Professor Luo Yuren, also taught part-time at Taiwan University. Our 14th session graduated in Taipei.

After graduation, I was assigned to serve in Matsu, leading a cannon maintenance team, with the largest cannon of 240mm caliber. After completing my service in Matsu and returning to Taiwan, I passed the military examination for studying in the United States and subsequently went to El Paso, Texas, to receive training in the maintenance of the Victory Goddess Hercules type remote control command system. Upon returning to Taiwan, I joined the Army Missile Battalion (605 Group 661 Battalion). After two years of service, I transferred to the Joint Logistics 61st Ordnance Factory. After working for some time, I applied for and received a full two-year scholarship to the Mechanical Research Institute at the University of New Hampshire in the United States. After returning to Taiwan, I was transferred to the Systems Manufacturing Center of the National Defense Ministry's Chungshan Institute of Science and Technology, serving until my retirement on November 1st, 1993. After retiring, I moved my family to Canada; I have been residing in Richmond since July 1st, 1994.

On May 30 1964, I married Kuang-Lan Chao, and we had four children. Our eldest son, Yu-Tung, settled in Richmond with his family and often accompanies us since his retirement as a dentist. Our second son, Yu-Li, after earning his Ph.D., settled in the United States with his wife Yi-lin, working as an engineer for a medical device company. Our third son, Yu-I, and his wife Jinlan settled in Taiwan, engaging in study-abroad consulting. Our daughter, Yu-Hui, and her husband, Philipp, have settled in Berlin, working as a radiology technician in a hospital. I have four grandchildren, among whom Joseph is already employed at a technology company in Richmond; Michelle graduated from university and has just completed a two-year training program in the United States; Chih-Liang is about to enter the Graduate Institute of Mechanical Engineering at National Taiwan University after this summer; and Zoey is still in elementary school, learning Chinese in addition to German and English. With my children all settled in different countries, they truly have spread their branches and soared internationally. I am thankful to God for His protection and guidance, as they all have active church lives in the areas they reside.

In 2013, I fell seriously ill, but after being rushed to the hospital by ambulance, thankfully, I was saved. Afterwards, I relied on medication twice daily to control my condition. Every Sunday, Kuang-Lan and I attended worship at the Trinity Lutheran Church here. There is a hymn I love to sing – "Listen Gently” – reminding us to heed the teachings of Jesus Christ. Although we cannot physically hear His teachings directly, we can see the gospel He and His disciples left in the Bible, which Kuang-Lan and I read daily and hope that everyone could also obtain a copy to read. May we all receive the true peace bestowed by the Lord.

Now, I have been gloriously called back to the heavenly home to enjoy eternal blessings. Amen.

Supplementary Note by the Children: Our father, Hsiao-Ming Chang, passed away on February 26, 2024, ten days after the death of our mother, Kuang-Lan, resting in the Lord's embrace. Throughout his life, he was upright, clumsy with words but passionate. As described above, he was a good soldier, a good engineer, a good Christian, and a good father. Here, we'd like to add a bit more about him. He loved photography and videography, leaving us and our relatives and friends with many precious memories. He was very handy, often repairing household appliances for friends and church members for free when his health permitted. If they insisted on paying him, he would donate all of it to the church. He enjoyed sports and was proud of completing a 10,000-meter weighted run in his sixties. He was a talented tenor, often singing "How Can I Not Think of Her" and "The Pursuit." Even In his final days, he was still able to softly recite the Lord's Prayer, sing 'Spring Dawn at Yumen' and his favorite hymn 'Listen Softly’ with us. He enjoyed listening to arias, and remarkably, 'O mio babbino caro' by Puccini was able to awaken him during his final moments. After moving to Taiwan at a young age, classmates of the 14th session of the Ordnance Engineering College became his lifelong brothers, perhaps compensating for the lack of familial affection. After retiring, he went back to Hunan to trace his roots, fortunately, finding that all seven siblings were well and flourishing, which brought him great comfort. His numerous trips home left us with many photos and videos, also helping to establish a connection with our ancestral home. Having classmates as brothers and being able to reunite with his family in his later years, and then in Canada, to enjoy the company of his wife, children, and grandchildren, he likely had no regrets when the Lord took him home ten days after our mother's passing. As his children, we hope to emulate him by being sincere in dealing with others, frugal and simple in our personal life, caring for our spouses and family, and loving God and others, aiming to live up to his legacy.

Words from our late mother, Kuang-Lan (Helen) Chao “Chang Mama”, to everyone

Dear family, friends, and brothers and sisters in Christ, thank you for taking the time to come and see me off. May our Heavenly Father bless everyone until the day we can meet again. Amen.

I was born in a large family of more than thirty members in Guansi Village, Xiuwu County, Henan Province of China. I was the third of six siblings, with older brothers and sisters above me and younger brothers and sisters below. Our family favored males over females and acted unfairly. From this you can understand the situation I was in. Later, due to the civil war, my family moved to Jinan, Shandong and then to Taiwan, where I grew up, went to school, worked, started a family, and eventually retired. In 1958, I was baptized and became a Christian, a member of God's family. I was then appointed as a Sunday school teacher and participated in Bible study groups, prayer meetings, and special trainings during the summer and winter. In 1994, my husband Hsiao-Ming Chang, our four children, and I immigrated to Canada, finding a church in Richmond (Trinity Lutheran Church) and settling down. I read the Bible and prayed daily, attending various gatherings. After believing in the Lord, my worldview and values changed; I forsook the world and sought only the Lord's pleasure. For several years, my home served the Lord, hosting Chinese and English Bible studies, Joyful Fellowship, and small group meetings for believers' edification. As time flew by, I unknowingly entered my old age.

Blessing is eternal life, and those who have eternal life are blessed. I thank the Lord Jesus for loving me, allowing me to believe in Him as the Lord of my life and to receive this great blessing. I also thank Him that I became a citizen of the kingdom of the heavens and a member of God's family. I have the Holy Spirit dwelling within me. Therefore I am not timid or afraid, but I can come boldly to the throne of grace, to receive mercy and find grace for timely help (Hebrews 4:16). I am truly blessed; among a large family of over thirty members, I was the only girl who followed my family to Taiwan and had the opportunity to continue my education, for which I am deeply grateful. In my second year of junior high, due to a prolonged cough, my health deteriorated, and I contracted tuberculosis, resulting in a two-year hiatus from school. Fortunately, with the development of new medication, I recovered after three months, for which I thank the Lord for His grace. Upon returning to school, I had special permission to be exempt from physical education and allowed to rest in the medical room during lunch breaks. This was a privilege that continued until graduation from high school. Isn't this a blessing from God? At home, I was also excused from heavy chores and rested whenever possible. It might be hard to believe, but I would think about math problems and compositions while lying down, only getting up to write them down, even knitting sweaters in the same manner.

I thank the Lord for the blessing of marriage and having children! Especially when I gave birth to my twins, Yu-Li and Yu-I, who were premature and in poor health, I hardly slept more than two hours day or night, fearing that sleeping soundly might delay attending to the twins. Therefore, Hsiao-Ming bought Levan Solution, prenatal vitamins, and Allicin for me to take, all to keep me awake despite minimal sleep. Time flew by, and now they are both over fifty years old, but it seemed like it happened just yesterday. They have grown even stronger than my eldest son! I truly thank our Heavenly Father for blessing and strengthening us. Amen.

Furthermore, in experiencing the Lord’s grace and blessing, the Lord knew that my family was large and that rental housing would be difficult to find in Canada. So He led my brother and his family to eagerly purchase for us a three-bedroom, two-living room house with a spacious backyard and a small swimming pool in Canada before we arrived. Everyone loved it, having never seen anything like it before! Although this property later brought its share of troubles, it also provided much joy to the family. Blessed is the man who trusts in Jehovah (Jeremiah 17:7-10). I rely on Him. Amen! Upon my family's arrival in Canada we immediately had a home to go to. This is truly the manifestation of the Almighty Father's love and blessing. Blessed is the man who trusts in You (Psalms 84:12). I thank the Lord, for words cannot fully express the blessings and grace God has bestowed. May all the glory, honor, and praise be to our Heavenly Father. Amen!

Now I am going to live in the heavenly home forever. If I have ever wronged anyone, please forgive me in the Lord's love. Thank you. Praise and thank the Lord! The greatest blessing of my life is being chosen by the Heavenly Father, knowing the Lord Jesus, and trusting in Him until now. Decades have passed with storms and rainbows, sighs and joys, and endless grace and love from the Lord. I have overcome many hardships with the Lord's protection. God's path is blessed; I wish to give all the honor, glory, and praise to the Heavenly Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Today, the Lord has ended my earthly toil and taken me back to the heavenly home. I recount God's love and the Lord's grace, hoping that the Spirit would shine on everyone, causing you to understand the truth, know Jesus, open your hearts, and receive Him as the Lord of your life. Then you would obtain the hope of eternal life and true peace in this life. Amen! For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that everyone who believes into Him would not perish but would have eternal life (John 3:16). This word of God, like a seed, grew in my heart and attracted me to believe and be baptized. I became a member of God's family, a citizen of the heavenly kingdom, and began spreading God's love to family and friends. Thank the Lord! God's love reached my family, and all believed in Jesus and were saved. Hallelujah, all glory to the Heavenly Father.

Friends, please consider what will happen when the train of life reaches its final stop? Jesus has the answer. He says, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6). Apart from Jesus, there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Dear relatives and friends, look at this world: nations rising up against nations, kingdoms against kingdoms, refugees, famines, disasters, epidemics, tsunamis, earthquakes, etc... (Matthew 24:6-8). The Bible has already prophesied these events, saying they are just the beginning, and greater disasters will occur. If people cannot repent and believe in Jesus, who can escape? Friends, God has prepared salvation, allowing people to believe in Jesus for eternal life without condemnation. God is faithful; His word will be fulfilled. My dear relatives and friends, I urge you to open your hearts and receive Jesus as the Lord of your life! Then your name will be written in the book of life of God, and you will hold a passport to the kingdom, enjoying the Lord's grace in the heavenly home on that day. May God bless you all. Amen!

Supplementary Note by the Children: Our mother, Kuang-Lan Chao, rested in the Lord's embrace on February 16, 2024. As a child, she fled to Taiwan with her family to escape political turmoil, and due to illness, she started school two years late, becoming the elder sister figure among her classmates. From a young age, she was optimistic and upright, seeing no evil in others; sincere and selfless, she earned the respect and admiration of her teachers and mentors. She was a lifelong educator, nurturing countless talents. Her diligence and love for learning extended to various arts: she excelled in cooking, sewing, calligraphy, Chinese painting, and knitting complex patterns. She could prepare elaborate dishes and pastries for love feasts with ease. Though frugal and simple in her personal life, she was generous to others, often saying, “What I have, I must share with others.” She was action-oriented, tackling difficult tasks as if they were easy; vibrant in life, plants flourished under her care. She loved singing hymns and reading the Bible and devoted her life to loving God and others. She worked tirelessly to spread the gospel, always carrying gospel tracts and homemade gospel bookmarks to give away. Moreover, she was never deterred by rejection. Christ was the head of our household, and our door was always open to brothers, sisters, and gospel friends. There were many things she wanted to do, and sometimes she felt frustrated due to the constraints of time and energy. However, as Proverbs 4:18 says, “The path of the righteous is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day.” The moment she saw the Lord she was in her most mature and bright state. She was not only our mother but also regarded as a mother by many, affectionately called “Chang Mama”. Not only did she have us four siblings as her children but also bore many spiritual children. Now, she has become one of the many witnesses surrounding us like clouds, and as we remember her, we pray that the Spirit that moved her will move us, who are still on this earth, in an intensified way, until we meet the Lord again.
