We are saddened to announce the passing of Hsin-Chang Tan on January 21, 2012 at Burnaby Hospital, British Columbia, Canada at the age of 78 years. At the time of his passing at 5:58 in the morning, he was accompanied by his wife, all children and grandson Edward. Hsin-Chang was a beloved husband to Yu-Lan, loving father of Ra-Min, Chih-Min and Hui-Min, loving father in-law of Betty and Jennifer, and proud grandfather of Edward, Allen and Chris. He will be sadly missed by his immediate family in Canada and extended family in Taiwan. The family would like to thank Burnaby Hospital staff and nurses and Dr. Kwan. A visitation will be held on Sunday, January 29, 2012, from 4:00pm - 6:00pm in Ocean View Funeral Home 4000 Imperial Street, Burnaby. Hsin-Chang's final resting place will be at the Ocean View Cemetery in Burnaby.
