It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ines Flora Martinello on February 19, 2020. She was born on November 11, 1924 in Castello di Godego, Treviso, Italy, the second eldest of nine children. She is predeceased by her husband Angelo Ermenegildo, grandson Darren, two sisters and three brothers. Ines Flora is survived by her children Noris (Vic) Vendrasco, Josie (Peter) Geldreich, Gilda (Gary) Berg and Frank (Yolande) Martinello, six grandchildren, Jason (Nicole), Derek (Amanda), Rudy, Cory, Sidney (Ryan), Rachel, four great-grandchildren, Xavier, Elijah, Bowen and Emilia. Also brother Nino, Antonio and Sister Maria Antonia (Luigi) and many nieces, nephews and friends. A viewing will be held on Monday, February 24th from 6:00-8:00 pm at Bell & Burnaby Funeral Chapel, 4276 East Hastings Street, Burnaby. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 25th at 10:00 am at St. Helen’s Parish, 3860 Triumph Street, Burnaby. Entombment to follow at Ocean View Burial Park in the Abbey mausoleum, Burnaby. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Alzheimer Society of B.C., or the charity of your choice.
