Mrs. Ivanka Jeremic

Mrs. Ivanka Jeremic, age 82, of Vancouver, British Columbia passed away peacefully on Monday, January 31, 2022 at Vancouver General Hospital. Ivanka was born August 24, 1939 in Svetozar Miletic (Ivankovici), Yugoslavia to Rodovan and Zorka Vukosavljev.

She was one of the prominent owners and operators of JN&Z deli, which she co-founded with her late husband Savo in 1987.

She had countless talents which were quintessential. She appreciated cooking, baking, gardening, sewing, and hosting numerous families and friends over the years.

She was loved by many and had a significant impact on people. Many knew her as their baba. She was a strong, proud, independent, talented, and a very hardworking woman. Her biggest accomplishment was her family. Ivanka is survived by her two daughters Natasha, Zorica, her grandson Kosta whom was her pride and joy, and her son in law Djuro.

The viewing for Ivanka will be held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel 3789 Royal Oak Avenue, Burnaby on Wednesday February 23, 2022 from 7:30 p.m.- 9:30 p.m.

Funeral Service will be held on Thursday February 24, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. with Burial Service to follow on site at 11:30 a.m.
