On October 14th at the age of 57 years Jadranka Leona Brešan, née Cecić, passed away peacefully in the arms of loving family at the Vancouver General Hospital. She is survived by her husband Franko, children; Luka, Filip, Marija, Eva; mother Maria; brother Joško (Itta); sisters Ljiljana (Mate); Leona (Todd); many aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends in Canada, Croatia and further abroad.
A Mass, followed by a reception, will be celebrated on Tuesday October 24th at 6:00 pm at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Croatian Catholic Church, 3105 E. 1st Ave, Vancouver. The funeral and entombment will occur at a later date at Sveti Stjepan church in Grohote, Croatia.
In lieu of flowers, donations if desired, may be made to Covenant House Vancouver.
