John Demos- devoted and loving husband,father,uncle and grandfather, passed away peacefully on Wednesday April 8th, 2015 surrounded by his caring family. John is survived by his loving wife Despina and their children Tony, Melissa and Johnny (Susan) and his grandchild Elaina. He is also survived by his brothers Richard and Leonard as well as many nieces and nephews. John is predeceased by his father Anthanasios, his mother Stella and his sister Marina. John will be dearly missed by his immediate and extended family and friends. Thank you DAD for being the person you were. We never doubted your love for us all. Thank you for everything you have done for us, your family. We love you and will miss you always. John was born in Montreal, Quebec and moved to Vancouver in 1954 to work as a pipefitter, then became a mechanical estimator and worked his way up to be Manager of Mechanical Trades Division at Canem Systems until retirement. He married Mom in May 15th, 1960 and raised his family in east Vancouver for most of his life. Funeral service to be held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home 3789 Royal Oak Ave ,Burnaby on Saturday April 25, 10:00am.
