John passed away suddenly on a visit to his home town, Gubbio, Umbria, Italy. He lived in Montreal from 1952 to 1961 and the rest of the time in Vancouver. Although he liked the Vancouver Canucks, he remained a lifelong fanatical Montreal Canadiens' fan. He leaves behind a grieving brother; Frank, and many relatives and friends both in Canada and Italy. He will be buried in the family mausoleum in Gubbio, Italy. Prayers will be offered at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 8, 2015 at Bell & Burnaby Funeral Chapel, 4276 Hastings Street, Burnaby, B.C.
