It is with sad hearts that we say goodbye to our father John who passed away peacefully on May 6th at the age of 92
He is predeceased by his sister Phyllis and survived by his wife of nearly 70 years, Margaret, sons Glen (Donna), Gary (Maryanne) and Tony (Kim), grandchildren Julie, Michael, Danielle, Monique, Cody, Dylan and great granddaughter, Summer.
John was born in London, England in 1923 and moved to Canada at a very young age where he lived in Rossland, BC and then West Vancouver where he met and married Mom. He will be remembered in both his careers as a radio operator at the airport, a coast guard along the BC coast and then as an English teacher for the Burnaby schoolboard.
He lost his fight with dementia, but never lost his smile or his spirit. You will be missed but you are now with Jesus, he prepared a place for you.
A small service will be held Friday May 15 2015.
