It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joe on April 16, 2012 at the age of 73 years. He is survived by his loving family, wife of 49 years Dorene; sons David and Carlo; grandchildren Jakob, Alex, Aurelio, Savannah, and Ophelia; brothers and sisters Lucy, Tony, Malverina, Anna Maria, Yvonne, and Ron; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 am Monday, April 23, 2012 at St. Helen's Catholic Church, 3860 Triumph St. Burnaby, BC. Interment to follow at Ocean View Cemetery, Burnaby, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
