It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Juan Barrio on Sunday October 28th, 2012 at the age of 81 years. He was born in Arive Navarra, Spain and immigrated to Canada in 1957. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be truly missed. Our papa was a family man and loved spending time with his grandchildren Jeanette and Brandon. He is predeceased by his loving wife Nuria, sister Joaquina and brother Jose. He is survived by his loving daughter Elizabeth (Mark); grandchildren Jeanette and Brandon; brothers Teodoro, Dimas and Jesus.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1pm on Friday, November 2nd at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 525 Slocan Street, Vancouver, BC. Entombment to follow Ocean View Burial Park, South Mausoleum, Burnaby BC. In lieu of flowers donations to Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
