Our last picnic the Croatian picnic grounds in Richmond <3

From all the festivals at the Slovenian and Croatian Halls, to the dinners at his home and the Croatian Picnics in Richmond, to his incredible knowledge of hockey, I will never forget you and I still think of you often.  You were also such a good friend to many and left many memories of your professional work all over Vancouver and Whistler.  We'll meet again my friend.

Jure will be deeply missed. I remember so many family get togethers of great stories and wine. Our sincere condolences to your family.

Jure worked with my dad, Vladimir Bralic, for decades for Frank Mahovlich Stone Masonry. Together they created amazing stone work. This includes  the Parliament building in Victoria, the stone walls you see at YVR, the Peace Arch sign, and various stone work at Whistler Village in the 80’s  in the early phase of its development. I remember as a kid my dad and Jure leave every Monday morning and come back Thursday night - for months over the course of a few years at Whistler.  After my dad passed away, Jure would help my mom and our family with projects around the house and yard, that required building. 
With that, his stone work is a permanent imprint of himself and his generous nature and kind heart is a permanent imprint in my family’s hearts. Jure will be missed on this earth.  He has joined  my dad and Frank in heaven.  💕 With love and condolences, Vlatka and my family, Bralic Janja, Andjelko, Mariana, and my son Michael.

Jure was and will always leave lasting memories to our family.  He is an affable man who loves his family and the community. The best thing that we remember about Jure are the moments shared when he would come to visit our home.  Beautiful and memorable conversations about the past, life, and just sitting, having a drink, great food and talking about the realities of making choices and decisions.

We will always remember his laugh and humor and the many telephone conversations until his passing.  Jure, you are well-loved and respected for who you are -- to us, and to the world.

Thank you for contributing love, happiness and peace to our life.  Thank you for the difference you made by being born.
