It is with such a sorrowful heart that I express my deepest condolences.  I have so many fond memories of my teenage and youth years with your family, especially Pr. Berger. He always had an encouraging word and I can still hear his laughter....he had a very dry sense of humour and sometimes his jokes were, let's say, humourless, but you still laughed along anyway!  He took an interest in more than the person, he took an interest in our souls and as a blessing bearer, he was simply outstanding.  I am convinced that his spiritual life will bring him many treasures in eternity.  We grieve and mourn, but we also celebrate as we know we will see each other again.  What a day that will be. He is a joy to talk with, and I always loved hearing him serve, firstly when I was young and thought his accent was cool, through my adult years, where I still thought his accent was cool, but I had grown to hear the message as well.
