Ken was born in Guangdong Province, China. Shortly after getting married, Ken made the difficult decision to leave his pregnant wife and a daughter behind to pursue a better life in Canada. He arrived in Vancouver, BC in 1953. Over the years, Ken became a self taught and successful cook and worked long hours. Eight years later, he was able to save enough to bring his young family over by boat. Ken thoroughly enjoyed being surrounded by his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. His favourite pastimes were going out for coffee with friends, watching hockey and visiting the racetrack. Ken was a loyal friend and a loving and caring person to all. We love you and thank you for making all of us possible, Dad/Gung-gung/Tai Gung-gung!
