June 13, 1931 - December 23, 2022
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Ken passed peacefully on December 23, 2022 at Crossroads Hospice at the age of 91.
Predeceased by his father Stanley, mother Rose, siblings Al, Elsie, Doug, Reg, Eileen, Evelyn, Bill and Pat. Ken is survived by his loving wife Betty of 63 years, son Jeffrey (Shawn), grandchildren Riley and Stefanie, sister Margie (Steve) and many nieces and nephews.
Born in Saskatchewan, the Garrett family moved to East Vancouver where Ken grew up making many friends, was a rink rat at the Forum and later coached hockey. He was a well-known barber and businessman. Ken lived in North Burnaby happily the rest of his life enjoying golf and his dogs. In honour of Ken’s legacy please consider a donation to Crossroads Hospice and Canadian Diabetes Association.
A family graveside service will be held.
