KK is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Suit Ying (Sharon); his two daughters: Lisa and Ramona; his four grandchildren: Jonathan, Andrea, Nyana and Sybren; and in-laws: Julia (Raymond) and Rint (Lisa). His son Raymond and daughter Lillian pre-deceased him.
KK had a successful career in the manufacturing sector in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Canada. He travelled around the world with Sharon and loved to collect elephant figurines. An avid reader with a strong interest in history and cultures, KK was a foodie who enjoyed a variety of cuisines, and above all, Sharon’s home cooking.
Known for his sense of humour, KK formed lifelong friendships with many around the world. He was a music lover with a particular interest in Frank Sinatra and Perry Como. During his retirement, KK further expanded his diverse interests into Chinese calligraphy with a group of likeminded friends.
