September 4 1955 – January 6th, 2025
It is with the deepest sadness we announce the passing of our beloved mother Cathy Mirisklavos. She is survived by her children Yanni (Maiko), Marco (Janine), and Betina; her grandchildren Maya, Luca and Leo; and her extended family and dear friends across the globe. Although we will miss her greatly, we will cherish the countless happy memories that we shared with her. We will for ever be grateful for her warm heart, the delicious meals that brought us together regularly, her love of animals, and her sense of humour. We will forever admire the strength that she showed during her recent battle with cancer.
We would like to extend our sincerest gratitude to the many doctors and nurses who cared for her at BC Cancer and Vancouver General Hospital.
A Funeral Service will be held in her honour on Tuesday, January 20th at 11:00 am at St. Francis of Assisi Parish, 2025 Napier St, Vancouver, BC V5L 2N8. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the BC Cancer Foundation.
