October 10, 1935 – March 2, 2013
On March 2, 2013 Manda passed away with family by her side at the age of 77 years.
She is survived by her children, Anna, Jerry, Carol and Lily; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; as well as many relatives and friends in Canada, Australia, and Croatia.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of the Renfrew Care Home and the doctors and nurses at the Burnaby General Palliative Care Unit for their kind and compassionate care.
A Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 10, 2013 from 4:00 – 6:00 pm at Ocean View Funeral Home, 4000 Imperial Street, Burnaby, where a Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, March 11, 2013. Interment to follow at Ocean View Burial Park.
Donations in Manda’s memory may be made to the Parkinson Society of BC, Immaculate Heart of Mary Croatian Catholic Church to assist with their sponsorship of a young man’s medical treatment, or the charity of one’s choice.
