Maria was born in Grimaldi, Cosenza, Italy and passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on April 7, 2010 at the age of 75 years. She is pre-deceased by her husband Ferdinando, son Bruno and 3 brothers Antonio, Francesco and Luigi. Survived by her daughter Teresa (Frank), sons Rob (Kirsten) and Michael (Nicole), 9 grandchildren Matthew, Francesca, Alexa, Lauren, Anthony, Nicole, Steven, Ashley and Ryan, sister Gemma, brothers Pietro, Fortunato and Vincenzo, brother-in-law Vittorio, sister-in-law Gabriella and their families. If we took the best in each of us and made one person, it would be Mom. She will forever be in our hearts until we meet again. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, April 12th at St. Helen's Catholic Church 3860 Triumph St. Burnaby. Entombment Ocean View South Mausoleum, Burnaby, B.C.
