Gracefully and peacefully Mom Sabatino passed away on a beautiful sunny Sunday afternoon with her family by her side. Born June 23, 1915 in Gerocarne, Italy, passed November 3, 2013 Vancouver, BC. Our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, auntie and sister is predeceased by her husband Domenico, son Bruno and son-in-law Frank. Maria leaves behind her 8 remaining children Paul (Cheryl), Caterina, Elizabetta (Battista), Carmela (Giovanni), daughter-in-law Barbara, Mike (Annette), Domenique (Debbie), Steve, Frank (Chelsea) as well as 33 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and her sister Rosa in Italy. Thank you to all the staff at VGH Centennial Building, 8th floor, for the wonderful care of our mother. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St Jude's Parish 3078 Renfrew St. Vancouver at 1pm Friday, November 8, 2013. Entombment to follow at the Abbey Mausoleum, Ocean View Burial Park, Burnaby.
