Mario Picariello

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mario Picariello on March 24, 2015 at the age of 81 years. Mario was born in 1934 in Grottolella, Avellino. After military service he emigrated to Canada to marry the love of his life. Here he lived his dream and created an adventure for his family. We will love you forever. He is predeceased by his son Emilio. He is survived by his loving family; wife Esterina, children; Tony (Bernice), Silvana (Vince), Sergio (Amy), grandchildren; Michael (Rasha), Reece, Daniel, Rylee, Natalie (Riccardo), Rikki (Jared), Emilio, Isaiah, brothers and sisters; Giovanni (Ernestina), Domenica (Carmen), Eduardo (Marina). Thanks to the Burnaby Hospital staff and a special thank you to the Palliative Care staff. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 30 at 6-8:00 p.m. at Bell & Burnaby Funeral Chapel 4276 Hastings St. Burnaby, B.C. Mass of Christian Burial will celebrated Tuesday March 31st at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 525 Slocan St. Vancouver, BC.
