Mario Serraglio

It is with great heartache we announce the passing of Mario Serraglio on August 27th, 2013 at Felburn Care Centre. Mario is pre deceased by his parents (Maria and Giovanni) and his siblings Lina, Luiga, Rosi, Angelo, Gina and Vicenzo. He is survived by his loving wife of almost 59 years, Severina; three children, Robert (Tina), Walter (Darcy), Rita (Leon); his pride and joy seven grandchildren, Chrissy (Kerry), Melissa (Tyler), Derek (Amber), Samantha, Matthew, Alex, Jack; sister Angelina and many nieces, nephews and relatives in Vancouver, Italy and Australia. Mario will be fondly remembered for his love of gardening and his handyman skills which he freely shared with anyone in need. Many thanks to the staff at Felburn for their special and loving care this past 14 months. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 525 S. Slocan St. Vancouver, BC. Entombment to follow at the South Mausoleum, Ocean View Burial Park, Burnaby, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Alzheimer Society of BC.
