Mary was born in Sandakan, Malaysia and she and her family immigrated to Vancouver Canada on the 8th of June 1975. She passed away peacefully on the 2nd of April 2024 and she is survived by her Son Vivien, Daughter Evelyn, Brother Michael Tong (Nancy), Sister Margaret Tong and extended families in Malaysia/overseas and extended families in Vancouver. Mary was predeceased by her husband Eugene Li Ken Loo, parents Albert Tong Ket Khen and Lily Chong Nyuk Moi and Brother Thomas Tong.
A visitation for Mary will be held Wednesday, April 24, 2024 from 4:30pm to 6:30pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 3789 Royal Oak Ave, Burnaby, BC. A funeral service will occur Thursday, April 25, 2024 at 10:00amat Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 3789 Royal Oak Ave, Burnaby, BC followed by a graveside service at 11:30am at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 3789 Royal Oak Ave, Burnaby, BC.
