May would ring me up periodically to see how I was, knowing that I was on my own.  What a caring and thoughtful friend!  With all her health concerns she could still be upbeat.  I'll miss your smile May.  R.I.P.

My Dear Uncle Raymond, cousins Andy, Bernie & wife, my deepest sympathies to you all at the passing of Aunty May Chan, a beloved wife, mother, mother-in-law, sister, sister-in-law, cousin, auntie and a friend to many.
Aunty May had always been an encouragement to me especially how she met Uncle Raymond and got married later in life and had enjoyed 45 years of marriage, 2 sons and be a grandmother to be. 
One of her outstanding qualities was her love and care for her brothers. She made sure to communicate regularly with them. During her illness, she continuously reassured them of her well being, not wanting any to worry, especially my beloved father, Kok Kit.
Admirably, in spite her years, her communication modes were not restricted to the telephone but she used e-mail and Skype! A thoroughly modern Auntie May!
Aunty May Chan will be sorely missed on earth however as believers of Jesus Christ, I look forward to one day meeting again in the presence of our Eternal God.
Uncle Raymond,Andy, Bernie & wife, praying for you at this time, may God strengthen you and His Gracious Presence carry you through into a new day.

Bernie, I loved spending time with your Mom. She was very special to me. You were wonderful in the way you supported her through those difficult final months and she expressed her love and appreciation of you each time I spoke to her. I'm thinking of you and your family during this difficult time.

Uncle Raymond, Andy and Bernie are in our thoughts and prayers.We will have a Mass offered for the repose of Cousin May Chan's soul at our Church of St. Francis of Assisi in S'pore.
Cousin May Chan was a very caring niece to my Mom, Maria Ho Kwan Kuen. During her 20s and 30s, Cousin May Chan spent time with us and, like an elder sister, she would give me advice when I was in my late teens. We will remember her as a very pretty woman in her cheongsams with her flair for handicraft work and sewing. She sounded so cheerful and well while on the telephone as late as 2012, showing that she kept her spirits up despite her ill health.
Although distance separated us for four decades or more, she will be missed as one of our loved ones in the Ho family (my Mom's family).
