Milton Francis Hinton 1917-2012 The patriarch of our family died on May16. A heart full of love, a laugh that could fill the room, he will be remembered by those who loved him as a man of fierce loyalty and indomitable spirit. Milt served overseas for 4 years during WWII, but not before marrying Mary, the love of his life. Their first child was born while he was away and after his return he and Mary went on to raise 8 children, who then raised 15 children of their own, who are now raising 5 children of their own. Saying goodbye is bittersweet, especially to such a strong and loving presence in our lives, but it is safe to say that after 94 years, Milt had lived a rich and extraordinary life.
Prayer Vigil will be at St. Patrick's Catholic Church at 7 p.m. May 20, followed by a small reception. The Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. on May 21 followed by a reception. Internment beside Mary will be a private family service.
