

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved father Norman Bifano on October 19, 2025. He was born on April 27th, 1940 in Vancouver, BC. Norm was predeceased by his devoted wife Marion, his brothers Ralph, Chuck, Tony (Edna), his sisters Elsie (Albert Mercurio) and Emma (Joe Carvalho). Norm is survived by his loving children Shelly (Dave), Paul (Konstanze), Kim (Ed) and Deana (Garrett). Also, by his grandchildren Mark (Pary), Curtis (Alyssa), Amanda (Mark), Lindsay (Mike), Cody, Brennan, Adam, Alivia and Thomas. Also, by his seven beautiful great grandchildren Isabella, Gianna, Mason, Carter, Romeo, Sofia and Moreno. Norm worked for Dairyland for many years among many other endeavors. Norm was hard-working and lived a full life surrounded by family and friends. He loved cars, fixing things, sports and fishing at his cabin at Bowers Lake, which he lovingly referred to as, “The Closest Place You Can Get To Heaven”. He will be missed greatly by all who knew him. Viewing at Bell Funeral Home on October 28th from 6-8pm. The funeral will be Thursday October 30th at 10am at St. Helen’s Catholic Church, 3860 Triumph Street, Burnaby, BC. Entombment to follow, Ocean View Burial Park, South Mausoleum, Burnaby, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in his name.
