Orrie passed away peacefully at George Derby Centre in Burnaby at the age of 89 years. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Hilda, and his sister, Nadia. He will be sadly missed by his children, Dan (Janne), Dave (Faye), Tim (Dalia), and Deb (Rolf Cutts, deceased); and by his sister, Lesia. He will also be missed by his grandchildren, Jennifer (Ryan), Sarah (Ben), Andrew, Erin, Trevor (Caia), Kyle, Cara, Christina (Edward), Tristan, and Jacob; and great- granddaughter, Paige. Orrie will be lovingly remembered by his sister-in-law, Dolly, as well as his many other relatives, friends, and Ralph’s Radio employees and customers. The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to all the staff at George Derby Centre, who loved and cared for him the last 6 years of his life. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, Apr 15th at St. Francis de Sales Parish, 6610 Balmoral St, Burnaby, with interment to follow at Ocean View Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to George Derby Centre (www.georgederbycentre.ca).
