Surrounded by the love of her family, Pasqualina Valente passed away at the amazing age of 97. She is predeceased by her loving husband of 62 years, Ernesto Valente and Son-in-law Americo Astorino, and her sister Elvira Minchella. She leaves behind her daughter Dina Astorino and Grandchildren Frank (Stephanie), Julianne (Domenic) and Great Grandchildren Sebastian, Cristian, Natalia, Luca, Livia. Also survived by her sister Angelina in Italy, and her brother Giovanni (Dominika), and many nieces and nephews in Canada and Italy.
Pasqualina was born on May 2, 1928 in Cervaro, Frosinone Italy where she lived until 27 years of age. She then travelled to Canada with her 7 year old daughter to join her husband. They moved around the Fraser Valley then came to settle in Vancouver and then finally Burnaby. She loved being a wife and homemaker and will forever be known for her delicious baking. She will be deeply missed and forever celebrated.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday December 3, 2025 at 1:30pm At Holy Cross Parish 1450 Delta ave. Burnaby, entombment to follow at Ocean View Burial Park South Mausoleum.
