Always one to do things her own way, our beloved mother, grandmother, wife, sister, aunt, and friend, Patricia (Pat) Lee, made a characteristically early departure by moving onto her next journey in the early afternoon of March 28, 2026, lovingly surrounded by family and friends.
Pat is survived by her husband Paul, sons Darren (his spouse Adam) and Kevin (his wife Melissa), grandchildren Jimi, Johnny, and Christopher, sister Alice (her husband Patrick), brother Francis (his wife Shuen), and many in-laws, nieces, nephews, and other much loved family members. She is predeceased by her parents Siu Chiu Ling and Ding King Ling.
Family and friends were always Pat’s first priority. She took great pride in raising her two sons and sharing their accomplishments with anyone willing to listen. As the matriarch of the family, Pat was able to summon an entire army of family members at a moment’s notice, which she made sure she also did on her departure day. Every new family member was welcomed by her with great love and affection. Making friends came effortlessly to her and she did that in great abundance while pursuing her two great passions: travel and swimming.
A traveller at heart, Pat seized the first chance to leave a successful banking career to see the world. And that she did with much gusto, travelling to countless countries across six continents spanning over two decades, right up to her final months. And she has now embarked on the most beautiful journey of her life.
