Mr. Peter Cheng Lun Chu

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of Peter on Sunday April 5, 2020 following a long and arduous journey with kidney cancer, which metastasized a year ago. He passed away peacefully in his home with his family.

Peter was a dedicated father and husband, a devoted son, brother, uncle and friend. He is survived by his wife, Amanda; his daughter, Elisa; his parents, Tzu-Kang (Steve) and Serena; his brother, David; his niece, Abigail and his nephew, Donovan.

Peter had worked for Vancity Credit Union since 2001. He was always willing to help others and reached out to those with similar experiences battling cancer. He will always be remembered for his generosity and kind heart.

Peter was always a big kid at heart and had a variety of unique interests, including collecting retro toys and Legos. He was also a big Star Trek fan and loved playing video games.
