Auntie Phyl has definitely left an imprint on my life and in my heart. I cherish the many voicemails from her that I still listen to, given her unique spark and humor. My memories of her visits to the US, her written correspondence and many phone calls will always remain special. 

As we know, we never loose those whom we love. They continue to participate in our thoughts, and the pursuits that we engage. Their love renders an enduring hallmark in our memories. Comfort is found in realizing that our lives have been truly enriched.

My Aunt Phyl was a riot! She had the best laugh and often a mischievous twinkle in her eye, so you knew that some fun was about to be had. 

I remember the great time we had together when I visited Ireland during my college days. Nanny was quite peeved when we arrived home so late, as we giggled all the way up the stairs of her house on Keeper Road.
 
The only thing bigger than Phyl's laugh was her generous heart. She always remembered everyone's birthday, and my children have saved all of her cards with the funny little drawings she would include. She always thought of everyone, and routinely checked up on their health. 

Phyl would tell you exactly what she was thinking, and even an expert negotiator would be powerless to change her mind when she was passionate about something. 

She was a staunch protector of family history. We loved hearing her stories of Nanny and Granddad Kennedy, and of the big family growing up in Ireland. She was strong and brave and warm and giving all at the same time. She touched many lives through her years of unselfish volunteer work. 

So here's to our Auntie Phyl, a grand lady who will forever live on in our hearts'¦..

Heartfelt sympathy to Tom, Donna, Al and family-
 
Our Phyllis was the most wonderful sister. She had a big heart and was passionate about her parents, children and family; as well as her volunteer work with the Catholic Women's League and Carmelite nuns.
 
I have so many great memories of Phyl during our childhood in Ireland with all of the gang (5 sisters, 3 brothers), and such fond visions of her at our house parties with friends. Phyl was a good dancer. It was a riot when she would don her stylish French beret & dance the tango with our brother Tom, in his Valentino garb.
 Her sense of humor and laugh were infectious to those around her.
 
Phyl's strength, generous spirit and deep commitment made her an exceptional person. Although the miles between us were great, we were close in our conversations. Every phone call ended with 'up the dubs'. Phyl was loved so dearly and will be greatly missed.
