Raffaele Ricci

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Raffaele, beloved husband, father and nonno. Predeceased by his father, Nicola Ricci and his mother Antonietta Ricci (Fiorante) and sister-in-law Vicki Ricci. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years Jennie, children, Deborah (Mike), Nicholas (Kim), Marina (Ray), Lisa (Egbert) and lovingly missed by his grandchildren, Andrea, Michael, Adrienne, Christopher, Aliza, Sydnee, Taylor, Max and Maddie, sisters Nancy (Duilio), Ginetta (John), brother Vince, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was born in Civitanova Del Sannio. He immigrated to Canada in 1949 and settled in Vancouver. His first love was music and soon became a well known musician in the Italian community. He loved his family more than life itself and in his later years he loved tending to his garden. Ralph was larger than life and everyone who knew him will miss him. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at 11:30am at Holy Cross Church,1450 Delta Avenue, Burnaby. Entombment to follow at Ocean View Burial Park, South Mausoleum.
