Rina Girotto

Rina was born in Castelfranco Veneto, Treviso, Italy on January 8, 1925 to Giuseppe and Maria (Venturin). Seeking a better life for his family her husband Giovanni immigrated to Canada. Rina and their two young sons followed soon after in 1957.

Rina will be remembered with much love for her warmth, generosity and strength. She dedicated her life to her family, always there with loving action.

Rina is predeceased by her parents, her siblings Stenna and Gino Ballan; her husband Giovanni of 69 years in 2018, her son Gino in 2021. She is survived by Her sister Rita (Stocco), her son Franco (Beverly) ; grandchildren, David, Leanna, Sarah, Mark, Bryan and Sean; and seven great grandchildren, Victor, Olivia, Hailey, Jenna, Trevor, Mason and Natalie.

Service and entombment will be held on March 17, 2025 at 1:00pm at Ocean View Burial Park 4000 Imperial Street, Burnaby, BC.
