BECK – Windell Robert Beck entered into eternal peace April 9, 2017. ‘Bob’ was loved by many and will be remembered as a true gentleman with a loving and generous heart. Born December 6, 1919, he was brought up on the Saskatchewan farm to be humble, patient and hardworking. His move to New Westminster rewarded him with his first love, Edith, and his long career at Scott Paper where he retired. He will be dearly missed and is survived by his daughter Dawn and husband Dave Cassells; granddaughters Sheryl Stendal & Ann Gloux; great grandsons Ryan & James Stendal; his sisters Vivian Rempel; Dorothy Fosmark & Gail (Gordon Beck). The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Evergreen Baptist Home and Peace Arch Hospital for their graceful support in his last days. Robert’s final resting place is with his wife Edith and parents Henry & Hilda at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Burnaby.
