Robert William Tinsley

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Robert William (Bob), a loving partner, father, grandfather, brother, nephew and cousin, on August 23, 2019. Bob was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada on April 25, 1962 to William Dennis (Bill) and Irene Joan (née: Naylor) Tinsley. He was predeceased by his parents William (Bill) and Irene. He is survived by the mother of his children: Alison; his 3 children: Nicole (Marc), Michelle, and Amanda; his 4 grandchildren: Danica, Marc Jr., Jordan and Jayce. He was the only son of six. His living siblings: Carol (Peter); Lorraine (Lee); Joanne (Rod); Kathy (Claude); and Debbie. His 12 nieces and nephews: Krista (Andy), Joshua, Jessica and Katerina; Sara and Adam; Justin (Heather) and Jayeson; Nathan (Kiisha) and Mitchell; Joshua and Jennifer (Jesse). His 14 great nieces and nephews: Annika and Kalli; Jacob and Rachel; Jada (stepdaughter), Cole, Chase and Carter; Brooklyn, Abigail and Willow; Emma; Aliyah and Jaxon. As well as including many more aunts, uncles and cousins. He was an intelligent, kind and friendly man with a big heart who loved everyone. He was always helping and giving to others. He had a good sense of humour and would demonstrate this with others as he loved to share a good laugh with family and friends. His lifelong passion was to work and tinker with automobiles whenever the opportunity arose. I remember when he was young (about 13 years old) and he would take a vehicle apart and then put it back together again like it was a puzzle. It was quite amazing. He will be sorely missed, but not forgotten by all who loved him very much. A memorial service will be held at Bell & Burnaby Funeral Chapel, 4276 Hastings Street, Burnaby, B.C.
