Rocco Baldassarre

Rocco passed away peacefully on April 27, 2022 at the age of 92 years. He was predeceased by his parents, Antonio and Maddalena, and brother Domenico. Rocco is survived by his loving wife; Aurelia (69 years) and his sisters Teresa and Filomena. He will be greatly missed by his family, children; Mario (Linda), Luciana (Richard), Tony (Heather); grandchildren; Brandon, Rocco, Stephanie, Amanda, Rob, Lucas, Adam, Paul; great-grandchildren; Jaclynne, Raven, Emma, Dominik, Sofia, Sylvester, Luciano, Vincent, Mario, BrynLee and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Rocco was born in Francavilla al Mare, Italy, November 26, 1929, and immigrated to Canada in 1957. He worked most of his time in construction. Rocco left a legacy of love of the land, hard work and joy in laughter as an example to us all. His love for his garden will forever be with us. His positive impact continues to all who knew him. Rest in peace, Rocco. You will be in our hearts forever.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Friday, May 6, 2022 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 1450 Delta Avenue, Burnaby, BC with entombment to follow at the South Mausoleum, Ocean View Cemetery, 4000 Imperial Street, Burnaby, BC.
