Mrs. Rosalyn Eleanor Barr

Dearly missed by children Vicky (Tony), Tom (Carla), Tracey (Kevin), Rob (Nikcole), grandchildren Brandon (Robyn), Hayden, Spencer (Stine), Darren, Connor, Emily, Andrew, Elizabeth (predeceased), Ryan, Brittany, Mackenzie, Alexandria & great grandsons.

Predeceased by Jimmy, her beloved husband of 63 years.

Born at home in Vancouver to Thomas Edward and Nora Eleanor. Thomas was born in Ladner, BC, Nora in Eastbourne, England. Nora (18) & her sister, Cathleen (23), immigrated to Canada on their own.

Rosalyn’s passion was painting. As a member of the FCA since 1976, she received numerous awards in juried shows. She was well known for her originality, spontaneity & colour harmony. Paintings exhibited on two continents with the Royal Institute of Painters, commissioned works for dignitaries, corporations & Kushiro, Japan.

Mom will be remembered for her unconditional love, her passion for art & her skill at 10 pin bowling.

In lieu of flowers a donation in Rosalyn’s memory to the Federation of Canadian Artists (FCA) or charity of your choice is appreciated.

Memorial Service will be at Forest Lawn Chapel on Fri. Feb. 2, 2018 @ 1:00 pm followed by graveside internment.
