Rosa was born on May 13, 1928, in Dipignano, Cosenza, Italy. She passed away peacefully on January 30, 2026 at Vancouver General Hospital. Rosa is predeceased by her husband of 47 years Antonio (Tony). She is survived by her daughters Mary (Bill) Wirtanen and Laura (Colin) MacLean. Her grandchildren Jeffrey (Fiona) Wirtanen and Kristina Wirtanen. Also, (Jeffrey and Fiona's children) her great grandchildren Gemma, Kian, and Clara Wirtanen. With much love she will be greatly missed.
The family would like to thank the staff at Blenheim Lodge and Vancouver General Hospital for their excellent care of Rosa.
There will be a private family service.
